Allan Smith, Managing Director:

Allan has spent the past 25 years working across the globe in varying leadership and official capacities.

Prior to founding Réitech, Allan was Regional Managing Director for four years establishing new business entities across Asia Pacific between 2008 and 2012; prior to this Allan served as Vice President Southern Operations, Global Business Development and Convergence Strategies at MagiNet.

During his twelve year tenure at MagiNet; Allan served in a broad range of capacities spanning Africa, Asia, South Pacific and the United States. Smith’s responsibilities included managing the region’s business operations across Southern Hemisphere, managing mergers and acquisitions, implementation and management of the company’s global business development and technology convergence division from 2006. Following the acquisition of Nomadix in 2006, Allan led the business as President and CEO until the sale of MagiNet in 2008.

Prior to MagiNet, Allan worked in an engineering capacity over 5 years in the United Kingdom implementing and maintaining large scale residential Cable Television, Telecommunications and Fibre Optic Networks.

Mr. Smith has studied Electrical Engineering, TV and Telecommunication with further studies in Leadership and Management at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) and University of South Africa Business School of Leadership (SBL).
